The North Brookhaven Chamber of Commerce are the stewards of the Suffolk County Memorial American Flag Park & Landmark 1914 L.I. Railroad Car Tourism Center. Both the Memorial Park and Tourism Center are located on the crossroad of Nesconset Highway & Route 112 in the center of the business of Port Jefferson Station.
The American Flag flying is 20 ft. x 30 ft. topping the highest flag pole in Suffolk County. In the flag circle there is a 911 memorial stone set in place by the Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Civic Association.
The park can be access by car from the entrance off Rose Avenue, parking is free, picnic benches are available.
The L.I.R.R. Car, Memorial Flag Park, park grounds, maintenance and operational cost are all paid from the funds of the North Brookhaven Chamber of Commerce.
